Assir: The resistance infiltrates into Syria "to kill our brothers"

Sheikh Ahmad Assir accused the resistance on Sunday of infiltrating into Syria to kill Syrians, adding that what remains of the state and government in Lebanon is chasing after some sympathizers with the Syrian people.”

Addressing protesters rallied in al-Masnaa in solidarity with the Syrian people, Assir urged the cabinet to launch a “transparent investigation into “the infiltration of the resistance into Syria to kill our brothers and participate in their torture.”

Assir accused the Syrian regime and its allies in Lebanon of being behind the assassinations taking place in Lebanon.

Commenting on the issue of people detained in prisons for more than 5 years without trial, Assir said the prison term has been reduced so that “the despicable Israeli agent” could be released.
