Rifi: Hezbollah is tool to implement Iran’s expansion plan

Resigned Minister Achraf Rifi accused on Thursday Hezbollah of being a tool to implement Iran's expansion plan in the Arab world, defending Saudi Arabia's role in the region.

Rifi said that Iran "was deluded if it thinks that Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah was leading the Lebanese Republic."

"Nasrallah executes what he is being asked and Tehran uses him as a platform to reveal its policies, and his positions express the Iranian position that is hostile to the Arab World," Rifi continued.
