Egyptian foreign minister set to meet with Ghalioun

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Sunday that Minister Mohammad Kamel Amro will meet with the head of the Syrian National Council Burhan Ghalioun on Monday in Cairo.

The ministry said that the meeting will take place in light of Egypt’s efforts to urge the Syrian opposition to unify its ranks and become one entity that sets a unified vision for Syria’s future.

The statement added that the minister will meet with all Syrian opposition leaders to find ways to settle the crisis and put an end to violence and bloodshed in Syria.
