REPORT: Saudi Arabia’s women take to Twitter, call for end of male guardianship

Women across Saudi Arabia have joined a social media campaign calling for the end of the guardianship system.

People took to Twitter, using the hashtag #TogetherToEndMaleGuardianship, to show their support and demand social reform.

Saudi women are not just calling for the end of male guardianship in marriage contracts or the transfer of guardianship but they are calling for dropping all forms of ways that control their lives.
