Lebanese farmers pay the price of regional turmoil
Lebanese farmers are facing year-round problems threatening their agricultural production.

In winter, the bitter cold and severe storms are likely to damage their crops.

While in summer, farmers come face to face with the issue of irrigation amid the water scarcity that haunts Lebanon during this season.

However, the greatest problem threatening agricultural crops along the year lies in selling out the agricultural products amid the turmoil and uprisings sweeping Arab countries which import more than 50% of the Lebanese agricultural products
