Geagea: Hezbollah, Syria and Iran tried to corner me due to my Arab relations

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said Thursday that Hezbollah, Syria and Iran did not like his “emerging” Arab relations at all; they rushed to corner him based on his past.

Geagea told Al Watan daily that the Syrian regime won’t be able to survive, adding that the Syrian elections are not serious.

On the attempt to assassinate him, Geagea said that some parties want to change the balance of power in Lebanon, adding “the motives of the group behind the attempt to assassinate me were changing the balances of power on the domestic scene, and going back to the confiscation of Christians in Lebanon and out at this critical moment”.
