First Military Investigative Judge Riad Abou Ghaida overturned a request to release the detainee Kamel Amhaz presented by his attorney.
Amhaz, who owns numerous mobile phone shops across the country, was arrested over phone-smuggling and tax evasion charges. This comes after two servicemen were arrested in an alleged phone-smuggling racket.
