Jordan’s King: All parties must cooperate to resume Israeli-Palestinian negotiations

Jordan’s King Abdullah II stressed Monday that all regional and international parties must cooperate to resume negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians, according to a statement issued by the Jordanian Royal Court.

King Abdullah II received a delegation from U.S. – Jewish organization “G Street” and stressed the need to examine all the final status issues leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, living in peace and security alongside Israel.

The King explained that all parties must prepare the appropriate circumstances to launch direct negotiations between Palestinians and Israelis, in order to reach the two-state solution, which is the only means to promote security and peace in the region.
