Layyoun to LBCI: Amending 8.9 trillion draft law “a waste of time”

Culture Minister Gaby Layyoun stressed on Wednesday the importance that President Michel Sleiman sign the 8.9 trillion LBP decree, adding that Sleiman’s request to amend the draft law before referring it to the parliament is a “waste of time given that the president has already signed the decree.”

In a statement to Nharkom Said TV show, Layyoun wondered “[Why didn’t the president point out] the violations and flaws when he signed the decree for the first time?”
