Geagea: Government responsibility falls on our shoulders
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea expressed hope on Friday that the upcoming parliamentary elections would be held according to an electoral law sought after by the Lebanese Forces, which will be representative of all the Lebanese people via their elected parliamentarians. “The responsibility of establishing a state in Lebanon falls on us and we must be up to it” he added.

During a meeting with a delegation of figures and residents from al-Kodam town in Bekaa, Geagea said that he is not concerned with the security situation despite the kidnapping case of Father Walid Gharios which is being pursued by the state.

Geagea noted that the Middle East region and Lebanon are on the “good and correct” track, and added that “we need to be committed and determined to let this historical phase pass with the least amount of damage”.
