NATO to discuss Afghanistan situation with Hollande

NATO Secretary General Anders Rasmussen said Friday, that he will be holding discussions on the prospect of pulling out French troops from Afghanistan with French President-Elect Francois Hollande May 15th.

In a press conference in Brussels, Rasmussen stated that he had congratulated Hollande on his presidential victory through a phone call adding that he would like to form close work ties with him.

Rasmussen also said that both he and the President-Elect will continue their talks following the inauguration of Hollande as France's new President.
