The French Foreign Ministry announced that France denounces deadly violence in Tripoli city during the last few days, and calls on the Lebanese people not to import the Syrian conflict into their country.     

The Ministry’s spokesman Bernard Valero stressed that France calls on all the Lebanese people to put Lebanon’s interest above all, adding that they must give priority to the national dialogue, national unity and civil peace in order to prevent the Syrian crisis from entering Lebanon
