Connelly voices concern over Syrian events contributing to Lebanon’s instability
Head of the Change and Reform bloc General Michel Aoun met with US ambassador to Lebanon Maura Connelly on Thursday in Rabieh where they discussed the political and security situation in Lebanon and the general situation in Syria.       

According to the statement issues by the US embassy, Connelly expressed her concern over the possibility that the Syrian crisis could contribute to the instability of Lebanon, renewing the US commitment to a sovereign and stable Lebanon.
