Syrian Foreign Ministry considers sanctions imposed on Syria as “economic terrorism”
Syria considered on Saturday that the “illegitimate” sanctions imposed on it violate the basic principles of human rights in the world, calling on the international community to condemn them.
In a report sent to the Human Rights Council and the U.N. Secretary General, published by Sana, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stressed that the latest U.S. and European sanctions on Syria are considered as “economic terrorism”.
