REPORT: PSP proposes its version of vote law

The Progressive Socialist Party suggested on Saturday its version of an electoral law for the next parliamentary elections.

During a press conference, PSP MP Ghazi Aridi announced that the formula of the new vote law divides the 128 seats equally between majoritarian and proportional voting.

Aridi also stressed on the necessity of reaching a common ground over a new vote law before May 15.

“We do not want the extensions of the parliament’s mandate, and we do not want vacuum,” Aridi said.
