REPORT: Cabinet convenes at Grand Serail, avoids tackling electricity plan
The Cabinet convened on Wednesday presided by prime Minister Saad Hariri whereby during which it avoided tackling the electricity plan.
 
 Following the session, Information Minister Melhem Riachi said that Minister of Environment declared that all licensed quarries can resume their work, adding that all those who need to regularize their situation must submit their request to the Ministry of Environment.
 
On another note, Labor Minister Mohammad Kabbara said prior to the session that “the power generating ships don’t save Lebanon’s money."

 
For his part, Minister of Education Marwan Hamadeh stressed that “no one cares about the new US sanctions or the Israeli threats.”
