[VIDEO] PM Hariri declares cabinet’s endorsement of new vote law

Prime Minister Saad Hariri announced on Wednesday the Cabinet’s unanimous endorsement of the new vote law, dubbing it as “a historic achievement.”

He also declared the technical extension of the parliament’s mandate for 11 months.

Hariri noted that the Lebanese diaspora would be allotted parliamentary seats in the next elections.

He also stressed that the parliamentary elections will be held based on the magnetic voting cards in order to “avert any fraud attempts.”
