REPORT: President Aoun says toughest punishments will be given for all crimes
President Michel Aoun asserted on Friday that all crimes that are taking place recently in Lebanon will not be left without punishment.

Aoun’s comments were made to the family of Roy Hamoush at the Baabda palace, asserting that the 'toughest punishments' will be taken against those behind the murder of Hamoush and others.

"In recent years there have been several crimes in Lebanon and God willing, we will be quick to take action and the necessary punishments will be taken to be a lesson for everyone as soon as possible," Aoun said.

Roy Hamoush was on his way home to Mansourieh with a friend on Tuesday night when a dispute erupted between them and a BMW in Beirut.

One of the suspects in the BMW chased Hamoush and reportedly shot him in the head.
