The budget of the Interior Ministry was approved during the meeting of the Finance and Budget Committee, while the items suspended will be added to the agenda of the sub-committee formed to discuss the Defense Ministry’s budget.
Following the meeting, MP Ibrahim Kanaan commented on the arms chaos saying that there might be some political intervention to release the detainees, stressing that this issue is in the hands of the judiciary. He called for revealing the intervening politician’s name.
