23 Lebanese nationals survived by miracle from drowning when they were crossing Marmara Sea in Istanbul during a touristic trip in a ferry boarded by at least 200 tourists, including several Lebanese.
Sources told “Saida online” website that the 23 nationals hail from the southern city of Sidon.
The website contacted one of the survivors who recalled the details of the incident, saying that “during the trip on board the ferry, a strong storm hit the city with heavy rainfall, which caused the waves to become unusually high.”
“We survived by miracle,” he added.
