The Energy and Water Ministry is expected to send to the Finance and Budget Committee a report concerning the financial allocations assigned to the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation, especially after the committee suspended the center’s budget of LBP 6 million pending said report.
MP Hassan Fadlallah said the issue is that the cabinet is allocating funds to a center without knowing how these funds are being distributed and without monitoring the expenses.
In this regard, the deputy raised a series of question marks concerning the studies conducted by the center and the decision-making party, as well as the means according the which the salaries of the employees is determined.
