Prime Minister Saad Hariri affirmed that the support of the Lebanese army leads to the strengthening of the government and its institutions and the army’s ability to fight terrorism that threatens several countries, hoping that the conference scheduled to be held in Italy for the support of the Lebanese army accomplishes its goal in receiving the help requested.
Hariri also insisted on the fact that it is the Lebanese army who triumphed in the battle against the Islamic State.
“Our army is the one who penetrated the mountainous towns of Bekaa and expulsed and fought against the terrorists.”
“I personally went to Bekaa to show that the government is the one who liberated this part of Lebanon,” he added.
