Chief of Lebanese Forces party Samir Geagea expressed his support to any investigations into the abducted soldiers case, noting that any probe in this regard must begin from the last chapter in order to reveal who worked to smuggle ISIS, “particularly because some declared that they concluded a deal with ISIS to reveal the fate of the said soldiers while everyone knows that those soldiers were detained by the trapped terrorists.”
During the Lebanese Forces yearly dinner in Hadchit, Geagea pointed that the party’s ministers are trying to show the best image they can of the government’s practice, clarifying that the party is fighting to make the government a proper one and for it to have a sovereign decision.
He confirmed again that corruption is pervasive in the state administrations and that the battle in the meantime consists on the eradication of corruption and the emergence of good governance in the state.
