REPORT: Berri says elections should be brought closer if magnetic cards are not adopted
Speaker Nabih Berri asserted on Wednesday that polls’ date should be brought closer if magnetic voting card may not be issued for the 2018 parliamentary elections.”

Berri’s comments were made during his weekly meeting with MPs in Ain el-Tineh whereby he numbered the benefits of adopting the magnetic cards in the upcoming elections.

On another note, Berri warned against the Israeli violations whether on the country’s border or by breaking the sound barrier.

This as Development and Liberation bloc MP Qassem Hachem said following his meeting with Berri that the pay scale is "a rightful demand for the Lebanese people."
