Trade Unions National Federation files complaint against Bassil with Labor Ministry

The National Federation of Trade Unions and Employees in Lebanon filed a complaint on Wednesday with the Labor Ministry against Energy Ministry represented by Minister Gebran Bassil.

The complaint was filed on the behalf of the federation, EDL workers and employees.

The Federation said that the Energy Ministry is infringing on the freedom of the associations and employees and applying modifications to the labor contracts due to the absence of determined Social Security subscriptions and lack of tenure for EDL workers.
