Exclusive LBCI: The truth behind a picture said to be that of a detainee

LBCI revealed the truth behind a picture said to be that of a Lebanese detainee in Syria Abbas Choueib.

LBCI got this picture on Monday 28th of May from Nabil al-Halabi, director of the Lebanese Foundation for Democracy and Human Rights.

The request: not to publish the picture before it is verified from the security apparatuses.

On Tuesday morning, the security apparatuses collected pictures from the detainees from their parents in Dahiyeh to compare them with the picture received by LBCI.

After investigations, it was revealed that this picture is not that Abbas Chouaib due to many differences in the man’s features.

The story does not end here, if this picture is not that of Abbas Chouaib, why was it given to Nabil al-Halabi via skype in a call with a member   of the Free Syrian Army? Did the detainees’ case enter in an intelligence game that goes far beyond the 11 hostages themselves? These questions add mystery to this riddle.
