A salute from mothers of Lebanese civil war detainees to mothers of 11 hostages

Mothers of the Lebanese civil war detainees’ called on the authorities and human rights supporters Thursday to deploy strong efforts to criminalize the kidnappings which in their words is “still the game of the powerful played upon innocent victims”.

The mothers, who were affected by the kidnapping that occurred in Aleppo, sent a letter to authorities urging them to work for the safe return of their loved ones to Lebanon, “so that history would not repeat itself”.
