REPORT: Kataeb reiterates rejection to re-imposing taxes on low-income people

The Kataeb party reiterated on Tuesday its rejection to taxes being re-imposed on low-income people.

The party’s comments were made following a meeting headed by party leader Sami Gemayel for its Political Bureau whereby it warned the authorities from violating the law and the Constitution.

The party also called for approving the state’s Bidget according to the Constitution.

On another note, the Kataeb blamed the government for not setting a comprehensive plan for the urgent return of Syrian refugees to their homeland.
