President Michel Aoun called on all Lebanese and descendants of Lebanese origin, mainly those excelling in the scientific and medical fields, to return to Lebanon periodically to make their expertise available to their nation, in order to contribute to highlighting Lebanon’s civilized, cultural and scientific image.
He noted that the Diaspora Energy Conferences held by Lebanon’s Foreign Ministry aim at deepening communication between Lebanese residents and expatriates.
Aoun’s remarks came during his meeting with a delegation from the Lebanese Society of Hematology & Blood Transfusion chaired by Professor Ahmad Ibrahim, at the Baabda Palace.
