Aoun meets with delegation of International Support Group for Lebanon
The International Support Group for Lebanon stressed on Friday its total support to President Michel Aoun, reiterating its support for Lebanon’s stability, sovereignty, independence and national unity.
Following a meeting between ambassadors of the Support Group and Aoun at the Presidential Palace, Deputy United National Special Coordinator for Lebanon Philippe Lazarini praised Aoun’s efforts in dealing with the crisis that emerged after the resignation of Prime Minister Saad Hariri.
For his part, Aoun asserted that he is still awaiting Hariri’s return to reveal the real reasons behind his resignation.
