President Michel Aoun called Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday, to express solidarity, stressing that the Lebanese people and government stand with the Palestinian people in rejecting Trump’s declaration to make Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
“All the heavenly religions are represented in Jerusalem, what happened yesterday is against humanity and against Human Rights. It also takes away from the United States the quality of the major country working towards fair peace in the Middle East,” he said when meeting with guests.
