REPORT: New Saudi ambassador visits Berri, Hariri

New Saudi ambassador to Lebanon Walid al-Yaacoub visited on Wednesday Speaker Nabih Berri in Ain el-Tineh after presenting his credentials to President Michel Aoun.

Following the meeting, the new envoy said that his vist to Berri is a “protocol measure.”

"Hope for the best and you will find it,” he added while leaving Ain el-Tineh.

Then, al-Yaacoub headed to the Grand Serail where he met with Prime Minister saad Hariri.

Following the meeting, the envoy said that the meeting with Hariri “was excellent.”
