Beirut firefighters put out a fire that erupted at an apartment on the third floor of Itani building in the region of al-Zaydaniah. The firefighting team managed to prevent the flames from expanding into other apartments.
The team, along with Civil Defense and Red Cross teams, transported 6 cases of suffocation to the American University Hospital in Beirut, where they were treated.
3 of the cases are in good condition while the other three remain in critical condition, a statement issued by the Public Relations department at Beirut Municipality stated.
