The residents of Qab Elias have been suffering for decades from the region’s random dumpsite that contains more than 600 thousand cubic meters of waste.
The municipality has been working to find solution for the problem, through the establishment of a waste treatment plant, with an aim to treat 150 tons of waste on a daily basis, in addition to treating the garbage inside the random dumpsite.
