Meeting at Grand Serail to save tourism season
In an attempt to save the 2012 summer season, PM Najib Mikati gathered the owners of media institutions, organizers of summer festivals and owners of tourism companies on Wednesday at the Grand Serail, and assured them that the government is ready to help in reviving the Lebanese tourism season.         

The meeting aimed at promoting tourism activity in Lebanon under the title of "What's going on in Lebanon", a campaign Tourism Minister launched to boost the tourism sector.        

Mikati said Arab countries were calling for a promotion to Abboud's campaign in the Arab world by showing every positive aspect of Lebanese activities in summer season.      

"We have to work hand-in-hand to bolster our tourism sector," Mikati said and thanked media institutions for their contribution herein.          

Following the meeting, Mikati headed to his office to follow up on the issue of the cut-off airport road, stressing that this road will always remain open.
