REPORT: Judge dismisses lawsuit filed by Nader Saab against LBCI

Metn Urgent Matters judge Rania Rahme dismissed on Friday the lawsuit filed by plastic surgeon Nader Saab against LBCI.

The judge also fined Saab to pay the fees and expenses of the lawsuit.

In May 2017, Farah al-Qassab died after undergoing a plastic surgery at Nader Saab’s hospital; and in august of the same year, the public prosecution filed charges against plastic surgeon Nader Saab.

Nader Saab then filed lawsuits against LBCI represented by its chairman Sheikh Pierre el-Daher, along with 11 others from the news department.

The suit includes charges of libel, defamation and contempt, as well as publishing of investigations.
