Salameh: Our main goal is stability of Lebanese Lira
Banque Du Liban Governor, Riyad Salameh asserted on Tuesday that the Lebanese government’s keenness on approving the Budget for 2018 will help in consolidating the trust of the Lebanese people.
 
“This comes in line with the World Bank's advice to reduce the deficit and public debt compared to GDP,” Salameh said during the Business and Finance Forum.
 
He also noted that BDL’s main goal is the stability of the Lebanese lira, voicing hopes that the Cedar conference will see foreign investments coming in order to improve growth and creating job opportunities.
