The world’s largest plane, owned by Emirates Airlines, landed for the first time in Beirut International Airport, with 517 passengers on board, including an official delegation.
The United Arab Emirates Ambassador to Lebanon Saeed Al Shamsi stressed from the plane, that efforts are being deployed to bring back the Gulf tourists to Lebanon.
A ceremony was held to welcome the A380 plane to Beirut, attended by Tourism Minister Avedis Guidanian, representing President Michel Aoun, MP Ali Bazzi, representing Speaker Nabih Berri and Public Works and Transportation Minister Youssef Finianos, representing Prime Minister Saad Hariri.
