Al-Akhbar daily: Emirates Leaks 2 – Geagea: KSA must pressure Hariri not to withdraw his resignation

Al-Akhbar newspaper received letters issued by the Emirati embassy in Beirut revealing the atmosphere after Prime Minister Saad Hariri’s resignation.

The letters said that one week prior to Hariri’s release (22/11/2017) from his “prison” in Riyadh, aspects of Saudi Arabia’s defeat started to loom in the horizon after losing its battle to topple Hariri’s government and to destabilize Lebanon.

Moreover, the letters showed the insistence of Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea on the necessity of Saudi Arabia putting pressure on Hariri to not withdrawing his resignation.
