Head of the Independence Movement MP Michel Moawad declared that there is consensus over the formation of a national unity cabinet, noting that the government will have the duty to protect Lebanon amid the dangerous developments taking place in the region.
He added that this government will also have to put in place a reform strategy to save the economic situation and resolve the displacement crisis.
Following his meeting with Hariri, Moawad said that he discussed his relation with Hariri and they decided to turn the page on the past and open a new page of cooperation.
