Mashnouq: We asked Aoun to pressure leaders to end chaos in Baalbek
Caretaker Minister of Interior Nouhad Mashnouq said on Thursday that he asked President Michel Aoun to hold intensive meetings and to put pressure on political and security leaders to put an end to the chaos in the Baalbek-Hermel region.
Mashnouq’s comments were made after meeting with President Aoun in the Baabda Palace along with Governor of Bekaa Bachir Khoder.
"We believe that President Aoun will not ignore this subject and will follow up on it," Mashnouq concluded by saying.
