Information Minister Melhem al-Riachi declared Tuesday that the Lebanese people will be able to watch the FIFA World Cup 2018 games for free across the Lebanese regions, following an agreement that took place at Beit al-Wasat, noting that state-run TeleLiban will broadcast the games.
He added that the technical matters will be finalized within the next 48 hours.
The minister pointed out that the agreement signed with “Sama” company preserves the rights of all other companies and service providers, adding the agreement also includes reasonable prices for restaurants.
Al-Riachi stressed the need to preserve the citizens’ right to watch the games and to put an end to all piracy attempts or violations.
