REPORT: Nasrallah: Israelis must admit their defeat in Syria
Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah asserted on Friday that the most dangerous issue this year is the circulated statements about “the deal of the century” that aims at liquidating the Palestinian Cause and handing over Jerusalem to the usurper entity.
 
Nasrallah’s comments were made during a televised speech marking the Quds Day whereby he said that “the Zionists are working since the occupation of East Jerusalem to make a demographic change in Jerusalem by joining settlement blocks from the West Bank, increasing settlements, and pressing Palestinians to leave the city.
 
“Jerusalem is the truth and essence of the conflict that has been going on since more than 70 years,” he added.
 
“The stay of Christian and Muslim Palestinians in Jerusalem and preserving their presence there is the real battle,” Nasrallah went on saying.
 
Hezbollah leader also noted that Muslims around the world must give a helping hand and spend money in order to help Jerusalemites stay in their homes.
 
On another note, Nasrallah said that Hezbollah went to Syria to fight alongside President Bashar Assad at the request of the Syrian regime.
 
“We will not withdraw from Syria unless the Syrian regime asked us to do so,” he asserted.
 
As for Iran, Nasrallah stressed that hostility to Iran serves Israel, adding that Arab and Islamic people must not allow the USA and Israel to transform Iran to an enemy.
 
“The Israelis must admit their defeat in Syria,” he concluded by saying.
