REPORT: Hariri from Baabda: Next Cabinet will be formed of 30 ministers

Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri asserted on Thursday that the Lebanese Constitution is very clear regarding the Cabinet formation.

“The first protector of the Constitution is the President of the Republic, and the powers of the Prime Minister are well known,” Hariri said after meeting with President Michel Aoun at the Baabda Presidential Palace.

He also voiced optimism that a solution for all issues will be reached.

“We are done from the elections and a Cabinet must be formed as soon as possible,” he added.

“There are issues that we were not able to solve, but we are very close to reaching a solution, and everyone is cooperating in this regard,” Hariri went on saying.

Hariri concluded by stressing that the next Cabinet will be formed of 30 ministers.
