President Michel Aoun said that “the speech of those affected by the reform journey negatively reflects in the confidence in the state,” stressing that no one will put a stop to those reforms.
“No reforms can be implemented in a community where the people refuse to confront corruption,” he added.
Raising question marks over the goals of those launching stances undermining the confidence in Lebanon’s economy, the president said that Lebanon has an oil wealth, which will prevent any case of bankruptcy.
