Faculty of Pharmacy and Science students stage protest

Students from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Sciences at the Lebanese University staged a protest on Monday against a recent decision taken to raise the admission grade point from 10 to 12.

Protesters stressed that the decision was solely made by the dean of the faculty when it should have been discussed between the head of the university, faculties involved,and the Minister of Education.

The students warned of further escalation.
