Subcommittee formed to discuss draft law on regulation of cannabis cultivation for medical use

The parliamentary joint committees formed a subcommittee to discuss the draft law pertaining to the regulation of cannabis cultivation for medical use, headed by MP Yassin Jaber, as well as subcommittee tasked with discussing administrative decentralization.

The committees also discussed draft laws related to Lebanon’s oil reserves, private recruitment companies and tangible guarantees on movable assets.

Concerning the draft law on the regulation of cannabis cultivation for medical use, two proposals were presented from the Development and Liberation bloc and MP Antoine Habshi, both of which were considered by caretaker Agriculture Minister Ghazi Zeaiter as in need for redrafting.
