France warns of regional events’ repercussions on Lebanon

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman kicked off Thursday his meetings in Paris where he met with the French parliament speaker who warned of the regional events’ repercussions on Lebanon.

In turn, Sleiman explained that his visit to France aims at boosting bilateral ties and helping Lebanon preserve its stability and “neutral” stance vis-à-vis Mideast developments.

Sleiman is expected to meet later with his French counterpart, Francois Hollande.
