Speaker Nabih Berri has been insisting on the need for legislation and stressing that the parliament is currently in regular session and must legislate.
When drafting the agenda, he included all proposals and draft laws ready to be passed, amounting to 39 items.
A number of these items were presented by deputies as urgent matters, while the items from 20 to 30 are not necessary and no consensus has been reached over them, but according to the sequence, they come in the middle of the agenda and must come ahead of more importance items related to living matters.
