Because medicine is considered as basic needs and after the repeated demands to reduce the drug prices, and after many Lebanese people started traveling to Turkey to buy medicine at much lower prices, Lebanon’s Public Health Ministry declared new measures to be implemented in order to reduce the price of several drugs types.
The price of more than 700 drug types was reduced at the beginning of 2018.
